SissoMotors Terms and Conditions

Welcome to SissoMotors (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SissoMotors website and services (collectively, the “Platform”), where users can buy and sell vehicles such as cars, aeroplanes, and motorbikes. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.

1. Eligibility

To use SissoMotors, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts;
  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration and when listing vehicles.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

2. User Accounts

  • You must create an account to post or purchase listings.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Listings and Content

  • Users are solely responsible for the content of their listings, including descriptions, prices, photos, and any other details.
  • All listed vehicles must be accurate, lawful, and genuine.
  • Misleading, fraudulent, or illegal listings (such as stolen vehicles) are strictly prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to edit, refuse, or remove any listing that violates these Terms or our policies.

4. Buying and Selling

  • SissoMotors is a marketplace platform, not a dealer. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee any of the vehicles listed on our site.
  • Any transaction made through the Platform is solely between the buyer and seller.
  • Users are responsible for verifying all information, negotiating terms, and ensuring proper documentation and payment methods.
  • We are not responsible for any losses, fraud, or disputes arising between buyers and sellers.

5. Fees and Payments

  • Creating an account is free.
  • We may charge fees for premium listings, featured ads, or other promotional services.
  • All fees will be clearly stated before payment.
  • Payments for listing services are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or stolen vehicle information;
  • Use the Platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes;
  • Copy, scrape, or use automated tools to extract data from the site;
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform;
  • Upload viruses, malware, or harmful content.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content, logos, trademarks, and designs on SissoMotors are the property of SissoMotors or its licensors.
  • You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without our written permission.
  • You retain rights to your uploaded content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and promote it on the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

SissoMotors is not liable for:

  • Any damages, losses, or fraud resulting from transactions between users;
  • Errors or interruptions in the Platform;
  • Content provided by users or third parties.

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms;
  • We suspect fraudulent or illegal activity;
  • You misuse the Platform.

Upon termination, your listings and account information may be removed without prior notice.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Zambia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
